What you're getting

Text Messages - Messenger Home is a home screen launcher built around your text conversations. It replaces or customizes your device's home screen so that messaging, contacts, and shortcuts are front and center, alongside standard launcher features like app icons, widgets, wallpapers, folders, and layout customization.

Who this is for

You'll need to meet the minimum age for using text messaging and launcher services in your country, and if local law considers you a minor, a parent or guardian needs to be okay with you using the App. By using it, you're confirming you can legally agree to these Terms.

What the App may ask to access

Set as default launcher — so the App can replace your device's home screen interface

SMS/MMS — so it can show, send, and receive your texts directly from the home screen

Phone & call state — so it can manage dual-SIM messaging and support call-related features like missed-call alerts and quick reply

Contacts — so names and shortcuts show up instead of just numbers

Camera & microphone — so you can attach photos or record voice messages

Storage — so wallpapers, layouts, attachments, and media can be saved

Location — so you can optionally share your location within a conversation

Notifications — so message alerts and badges appear on your home screen

Wallpaper, status bar & widgets — so you can personalize your home screen layout

Uninstall apps — so you can remove unwanted apps directly from the home screen

You can switch any of these off in your phone's settings whenever you want, though doing so may limit the App's launcher or messaging functionality, or require you to switch back to your device's default home screen.

What we ask you not to do

Please don't use the App to send spam or mass unsolicited texts, harass or impersonate anyone, share unlawful or offensive content, try to interfere with or hack the App or your device's system settings, or otherwise break telecom or privacy laws where you live. If you do, we may limit or end your access.

Your messages and layout stay yours

Everything you send or receive through the App, along with your personal home screen layout, widget arrangement, and wallpaper choices, belongs to you. Lumora Tech doesn't claim ownership of your conversations or personalization settings, and doesn't routinely look at what's in your messages. If you turn on any optional backup feature for your layout or messages, how that data is handled is covered separately in our Privacy Policy.

A note on carrier costs

The messaging features of the App run on your phone's SIM and cellular/data connection, so regular SMS, MMS, or data charges from your carrier may apply. We don't control your network, so we can't take responsibility for delivery delays or unexpected charges — check with your carrier if you're unsure.

Switching launchers

You can switch back to your device's default home screen or another launcher at any time through your device's settings. Doing so may reset certain layout customizations made within the App unless you've backed them up.

Who owns the App

The App itself — its design, code, launcher interface, and branding — belongs to Lumora Tech. You get a personal license to use it, not to copy, take apart, resell, or use our name or logo without our written okay.

Services we might connect to

The App may work alongside outside tools like backup storage, wallpaper or icon pack providers, sticker packs, or analytics services, each with their own rules and privacy practices that we don't control.

Privacy

How we handle data — including messages, contacts, and layout preferences — is explained in our separate Privacy Policy, which works together with these Terms. Using the App means you're fine with what's in that policy too.

Updates and changes

We may update the App, tweak launcher or messaging features, or briefly pause services for maintenance. We aim to keep disruptions minimal but can't promise the App will always be perfectly available.

If these Terms get broken

If you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, we may suspend or end your access without advance notice.

No promises beyond what's required

The App is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it'll be flawless, compatible with every device, or always available, beyond what the law requires of us.

If something goes wrong

To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for indirect losses like lost messages, lost layouts, data, or business that come from using the App — except where the law says such liability can't be limited, like for death, injury, or fraud.

Changes to this page

We might update these Terms now and then. We'll let you know about anything major through the App or its store listing. Using the App after that means you're on board with the update.

Governing law

These Terms follow the laws that apply to Lumora Tech's place of business.
