permissions. These permissions are only requested when required for a feature
you choose to use and are never accessed without your consent.
Dialer, Caller ID & Call
Log Permissions
To enable dialing, Caller ID,
and call log management features, the app may request the following Android
permissions:
•
Place Calls (CALL_PHONE): Allows the app to
initiate phone calls directly from within the Application so you can call
contacts or dialed numbers without switching apps.
• Read Call Log (READ_CALL_LOG): Allows the app to access incoming and outgoing call history, including phone numbers, call type, and call duration, so it can identify callers and provide Caller ID and recent-call features.
•
Phone State (READ_PHONE_STATE): Allows the app
to detect call state (ringing, active, idle) so it can display Caller ID and
manage the calling experience correctly.
•
Phone Numbers (READ_PHONE_NUMBERS): Allows the
app to read the device phone number(s) where needed to support calling and
telephony features.
•
Contacts (READ_CONTACTS): Allows the app to
access contacts stored on your device to match incoming calls with saved
contacts and display caller information more accurately.
•
Write Contacts (WRITE_CONTACTS): Allows the app
to create, edit, and update contact entries when you add or manage contacts
within the Application.
•
Display Over Other Apps (SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW): Allows
the app to show Caller ID, incoming-call, and call-related overlays on top of
other apps so you can see caller information during an incoming or ongoing
call.
Your Privacy Matters
•
These permissions are requested only when needed for
the corresponding feature.
•
You will always be shown a clear in-app explanation
before granting access.
•
You can deny or revoke permissions at any time through
your device settings.
•
If certain permissions are denied, related features may
not function as intended.
How We Protect Your Data
Any call log or contact
information accessed through these permissions:
•
Is used solely to provide the requested dialer, Caller
ID, call log, and contact management features.
•
Is not sold to third parties.
•
Is not shared with advertising partners.
•
Is not used for analytics or marketing purposes.
•
Is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, GDPR,
and Google Play Developer Program Policies.
You can allow, deny, or revoke
permissions through your device settings. If you deny a permission, some
features may not work correctly.
Other Permissions and How They Are Used
The Application also uses the
following non-sensitive or system permissions to support reliability,
notifications, and background operation:
•
FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE:
Used to run call-handling and related services reliably in the foreground
while a relevant feature is active.
•
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Used to display call,
missed-call, reminder, and app notifications where enabled.
•
INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used for
network communication and to check connectivity for features that require the
internet, such as ads, updates, or purchase verification.
•
VIBRATE: Used to provide vibration feedback for
calls, notifications, and alerts.
•
WAKE_LOCK: Used to keep the device awake briefly
when needed to complete a task such as handling an incoming call or
notification.
•
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Used to restore relevant
services, reminders, or scheduled tasks after the device restarts.
•
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Used to schedule
time-sensitive reminders or alarms accurately where the feature requires exact
timing.
•
DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION: A
system-level permission used to securely register app components so they are
not exposed to other apps.
These permissions do not, by
themselves, collect call log or contact content.
Location Information
We do not request location
permissions and we do not collect precise or approximate location data
directly. Certain third-party SDKs integrated into the app may infer coarse,
non-precise location from information such as IP address as part of their own functionality.
Whether this occurs depends on the specific third-party service and its
settings.
Analytics
We may use third-party Service
providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, such as:
•
Google Analytics
• Firebase

If the Application allows
account creation, you may request deletion of your account and associated data
from inside the Application. When we delete an account, we also delete or
de-identify personal data associated with that account, unless we are required
or permitted to retain certain information for legal, tax, accounting, fraud
prevention, security, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes. If the
Application does not offer account creation, you may still request deletion of
personal data by contacting us at brightpathworks11@gmail.com.

In-App Purchases & Billing
Purchase Processing
The App may offer in-app
purchases, including subscriptions and one-time purchases, processed
exclusively through Google Play's billing system. All payment transactions are
handled by Google Play. We do not directly collect, process, or store any
payment method information (such as credit card numbers, bank account details,
or UPI IDs).
Purchase Verification
When you make an in-app
purchase, our system verifies the purchase with our backend server to confirm
its legitimacy. This verification process uses encrypted communication (HTTPS +
AES-256-CBC) and includes only the following data:
•
Purchase token (issued by Google Play)
•
Product identifier
•
Anonymous device identifier (SHA-256 hashed,
non-reversible)
•
App version and country code
We may also receive limited
purchase-related metadata, such as:
•
purchase status
•
subscription status
•
transaction identifier

prevent fraud
•

•
comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations
Purchase Acknowledgement
All purchases are automatically
acknowledged within the required timeframe to prevent automatic refunds by
Google Play. This process is handled durably in the background and survives app
restarts to ensure you never lose a purchase you paid for.
Purchase Restoration
If you reinstall the App, change
devices, or clear app data, your previous purchases are automatically restored
when the App detects your Google Play account. This restoration process uses
your anonymous device identifier and Google Play purchase records — no
additional personal information is required.
Refunds
Refund requests for in-app
purchases should be directed to Google Play, as all payment processing is
handled through their platform. You can request refunds through Google Play
Store > Payments & subscriptions > Budget & order history. We do
not process refunds directly.
RevenueCat
We may use RevenueCat in our
mobile application to handle purchases, manage subscription status, validate
receipts, and ensure secure billing operations. RevenueCat may process
non-personal data related to your device, purchase history, and transaction status
to manage subscriptions and prevent fraud. No personally identifiable
information is shared by us with RevenueCat beyond what is necessary to
complete and verify transactions.
